Are You Really? Part I

Part II | Part III

I want to ask you a question. Seriously consider this BEFORE you answer.

Are you truly a Christian?

Something that is very disturbing is the fact that most who claim to be Christian do not act any different from the rest of the world. So now ask yourself:

“How am I different?”

The Bible tells us they will be known by their works.

Matthew 7:19-20
New International Version (NIV)

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Now look at yourself. What works are coming forth from the way you live? Are they the works of the flesh or are they the works of the Spirit?

Galatians 5:19-23
New International Version (NIV)

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Which are you producing? Are you producing the acts of the flesh, or the fruit of the spirit? Those who commit the acts of the flesh will not go to heaven (“…those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God”). So now ask yourself:

“Am I TRULY a Christian?”

John 14:12
New International Version (NIV)

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

I strongly suggest that you do not leave this page until you have looked at what your life is producing. To seek further assistance email
