It is time for all Christians to let the light of Jesus Christ shine through them. All of the people who claim to be a Christian, yet live an ungodly life, need to examine their life. In Matthew 7:16-20 it says,
“By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
Examine your life to see what fruits you produce. Focus on the Word of God, and live daily seeking to fulfill His Will. When you examine your life, you may need to let things go (electronics, friends, activities, etc.). If you find that you are indeed saved, indulge in the Word and reach out to those around you who do not know Christ. If you are unsure of your salvation, and you want to talk about it, you can reach help at firstname.lastname@example.org, or talk to administration at a local church.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.
