Have you ever been told that you’re crazy for believing what you do?
David, before he became king, had to take it a step further and actually pretend to be crazy in order to escape alive from a very dangerous situation.
He ran from his enemies (King Saul and the armies of Israel), right into the arms of his enemies (Abimelek, king of the Philistines, and his armies). How on earth would he get out of this one?
Of David. When he pretended to be insane before Abimelek, who drove him away, and he left.
1 I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
While running from King Saul and after being driven away by King Abimelek, David praised the one true King, the Lord. And in that place of praise, he found refuge.
Have you ever been in a tough spot? Have you ever been stuck between those who want to get you down and more people who’d like to get you down?
Have you ever been driven away from a place where you sought refuge?
Stretch your hands toward the Lord and offer Him your praise. When His praise is found on your lips, you will experience supernatural deliverance from impossible situations.
Is there a situation you’re in right now that is difficult? Have you ever been told you’re crazy for believing what you do? How can we pray for you?
